Halcyon Hills Farm

Halcyon Hills Farm is a small-scale, regenerative farm dedicated to growing the highest quality produce. We use permanent raised beds that minimize soil disturbance. Instead of tilling the fields each year, we broadfork our garden beds to aerate the soil and help crops establish deeper root systems. Broadforking efficiently loosens the soil without flipping it upside down. This method maintains soil structure while supporting the beneficial bacteria and fungi needed for healthy plant growth. Prior to planting, compost and organic fertilizers are blended into the garden beds to supply plants with essential nutrients and trace minerals.

We believe that healthy soil is the foundation of healthy plants, and that healthy plants make healthy people. By focusing on the long-term fertility of the soil, we are able to grow nutrient-dense produce without pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Our approach integrates the traditional ways of agriculture rooted in centuries-old practices with modern day tools and methods to produce the best quality produce.
